Antarctica is one of the most pristine and beautiful wildernesses still left in the world. Just the act of reaching the 'Southern Continent' is an adventure in itself. Once there the majestic icebergs, vast ice shelves, distant forbidding mountains, and endless icy panoramas stretch the imagination like nowhere else. This is one of the few places like the Galapagos where wildlife is still unafraid of man.
